Oelamasi_KlikNTT.Com- Sebanyak Dua Ribu Empat (2004) Jiwa Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) Tenaga Kerja Wanita (TKW), dan Tenaga Kerja Pria (TKI) asal Nusa Tenggara Timur yang meninggal dunia di Malaysia pada Tahun 2017 lalu.
Hal ini di ungkapkan, Kementrian Luar Negeri, atau yang mewakili, Direktur Perlindungan WNI, dan Badan Hukum Indonesia Kemenlu, Lalu Muhamad Ikbal saat mengadakan kegiatan Penyadaran Publik Terintegrasi Mengenai Perlindungan Warga Negara Indonsesia di Luar Negeri hari Rabu,(18-04) siang di Aula Civic Center Oelamasi Kabupaten Kupang, NTT.
Lalu Muhamad Ikbal mengatakan, Yang Saya amati Problem yang ada di Daerah ini antara lain dari yang bawah sampai atas. Karena Isu perlindungan WNI di Luar Negeri, dan menurut Nawa Cita Pak Presiden RI, merupakan Nawa Cita yang perlu Kita jaga yakni perlindungan WNI yang ada di Luar Negeri teruma TKW/TKI Kita.
Kita harus menyelamatkan WNI yang ada di Luar Negeri yang terjaring Konflik. Yang paling konflik itu di Malaysia Tengah. “Kepedulian yang ada di Luar Negeri sangat besar. Yang paling konflik itu adalah apa bila bermasalah Hukum. “Jumlah WNI yang ada di Luar Negeri 3 Juta jiwa yang legal, sedangkan yang Ilegal kurang lebih 2,5 Juta jiwa,” jelas Ikbal
Lanjutnya, Jadi lebih banyak yang Legal dari pada yang Ilegal, Proses-proses perlindungannya atau perlakuan mereka sangat tidak mudah di Luar Negeri. Baru Tahun ini Kita membuat sistem yang sangat mudah. Mudah- mudahan Tahun depan sudah mendapatkan Data yang cepat untuk segera Kita selesaikan permasalah ini. Berdsarkan data yang kita dapat, sebanyak 90 % jiwa yang bermasalah yang sudah masuk ke Kita.
“Dan permasalahan yang sering muncul yakni Hukuman Mati. Sekarang 15000uan yang ada di Malaysia yang akan terancam Hukuman Mati. Kami sudah punya Tim yang siap untuk mengamankan di Malaysia, Dari NTT, NTB, Kalimantan, Sumtra, dan Medan. Dan ada yang meninggal di sana tampa adanya Identas.”
Tanbahnya, NTT hampir 70 % gaji yang tidak di bayar. Ini merupakan salah satu yang perlu kita bahas. Karena kita semua terlibat untuk menyelesaikan khasus ini. “Dan menurut data Statistik Tahun 2017 yang kita miliki, sebanyak 2004 jiwa yang mninggal di Malaysia. Itu kasusnya bermacam- macam. Baik itu kasus bunuh diri meningkat 20 %, dan kasus pembunuhan sesama WNI 25 %, sedangkan Kecelakaaan 32 % persen, dan yang paling banyak meninggal karena sakit akibat TBC. Dari ini yang kita rangkap, dan ada juga data KTPnya di palsukan,” beber Ikbal
Smentara Bupati Kupang, Drs. Ayub Titu Eki dalan sambutannya mengatakan, “Saya sangat bertrima kasih atas kunjungan dari Kemenlu, karena adanya kegiatan ini dapat menyelamatkan sesama Kita khususnya di Kabupaten Kupang, dan NTT secara keseluruhan,” tegas Titu Eki
Turut hadir saat itu, Yusron B. Ambary Satgas Perlindungan WNI KBRI Kuala Lumpur, Argiadipa Subandti Konsul Kejari Johor Bahri, Dinas Tenaga Kerja Transmigrasi,Beberapa Camat, dan Kepala Desa se Kabupaten Kupang, Kejaksaan Negeri Oelamasi, Kepolisian Resort Kupang, dan Sekertaris Abjati, serta beberapa undangan lainya.
