Oelamasi_KlikNTT.com- Memasuki Tahun 2021, angka Stunting di Wilayah Kabupaten Kupang mengalami penurunan hingga 25 Persen.
Demikian hal ini diungkapkan Wakil Bupati Kupang, Jerry Manafe saat membuka Kegiatan Evaluasi Kinerja Tahun 2020, Analisis Situasi dan Rencana Kegiatan Tahun 2022, Integrasi Intervensi Gizi dalam Pencegahan dan Penurunan Stunting Tahun 2021 di Kabupaten Kupang (Selasa, 23/02).
Turut hadir dalam kegiatan ini, para Pimpinan OPD terkait salah satunya Kepala BP4D Marthen Rahakbauw dan Kadis Kesehatan dr. Robert Amheka, para Camat dan Kades se-kab. Kupang, para Kapus dan Petugas Gizi Kab. Kupang, para LSM, perwakilan Bappelitbangda Prop. NTT dan awak Media.
Wabup Jerry dalam sambutannya mengingatkan bahwa yang terkonfirmasi Covid 19 di kab. Kupang sudah cukup melonjak. Ia berharap agar semua tidak menganggap enteng hal tersebut.
“Ini akan menjadi masalah yang cukup besar jika kita tidak bergotong royong dan bersama-sama dalam melaksanakan protokol kesehatan.”
JerMan juga berpendapat bahwa stunting lebih mudah diatasi daripada Covid-19 yang setiap saat grafiknya naik drastis seperti pada bulan Januari hingga Februari sudah mencapai lebih dari 300 orang terkonfimasi Covid-19.
Ini bukan hanya tugas dari para tim medis dan satgas terkait, melainkan tugas kita semua untuk mengatasi persoalan Covid-19. Tahun ini terjadi refocusing untuk Covid-19 sebesar 8% (kurang lebih diatas 50 Miliar).
JerMan juga memberikan apresiasi bagi para OPD terkait seperti Kadis Kesehatan, Kepala BP4D, Kadis P2 KBP3A, para LSM, para Camat dan kades, para media, kapus dan jajarannya.
Kab. Kupang diangka Stunting yang mencapai 40% lebih dan turun hingga 25% saat ini bukanlah merupakan hal yang kebetulan melainkan kerja keras dari kita semua.
Para Camat diharapkan untuk tetap membantu puskesmas, posyandu dan pustu serta instansi lainnya. Karena masalah Stunting juga tidak bisa dikerjakan oleh DinKes sendiri sebab ini menyangkut dengan ekonomi rumah tangga terkait dengan makan minum dan ketersediaan air.
Kita jangan cepat puas dengan kondisi yang ada tapi pakailah pola ini untuk terus maju. Bagi para kapus harus lebih memperhatikan Stunting dan Covid 19 agar lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Karena ini merupakan waktu untuk kita bekerja bukan sebagai trouble maker disuatu tempat.
Dengan menekan penurunan Covid 19 kiranya kesejahteraan dan hak-hak di posyandu, pustu dan puskesmas bisa diperhatikan. Kadis Kesehatan diharap tegas dan membentuk tim kecil untuk mencari tahu Kapus yang tidak memberikan hak dari para bawahannya.
Jerry melanjutkan, dalam penanganan Stunting kita harus memiliki target baik secara Nasional, Propinsi dan Kabupaten. Kita harus terus memantau agar jangan sampai kita keluar dari target yang kita pantau.
Oleh karena itu dengan kegiatan evaluasi ini semoga kita bisa berpikir bersama dan memberi inovasi baru agar mendapat esensi tertinggi dalam penanganan Stunting di kab. Kupang.
Akhir kata, Jerry berharap semoga kegiatan seperti ini tetap kita laksanakan agar kita tahu masalah, kendala dan sampai dimana keberhasilan kita.
