Sebagaimana rasa gembira bercampur haru, dua Oma Lansia tersebut menyambut kedatangan Kapolres Kupang beserta rombongan dengan tangan yang gemetar.
Seraya mengucapkan terimakasih atas kedatangan Kapolres, Oma Yohana menyodorkan tangannya menyambut jabatan tangan dari Kapolres Irwan yang secara bergantian diikuti Ketua Bhayangkari Ny Dian Irwan serta Wakapolres Kupang bersama Ibu dan segenap Anggota Bhayangkari disalah satu pelataran rumahnya yang sudah tua dan reyot berlantaikan tanah.
Hal yang sama juga terjadi dirumah oma Martha Feoh, dengan kondisi yang cukup memprihatinkan mereka dengan gembira menerima kedatangan Kapolres Kupang dan ibu Bhayangkari serta rombongan.
Yang begitu haru adalah saat Kapolres Kupang dan Ibu Ketua Bhayangkari Ny. Dian menyerahkan Bansos, segelinang air mata menetes saat itu.
Oma Martha dan Oma Yohana merasa bersyukur di mana masih ada uluran tangan dari sesamanya melalui Kapolres Kupang.
“Tuhan terimakasih, berkatilah kapolres kupang atas semua kebaikannya,” ucapnya seusai menerima bantuan dari Kapolres.
Kapolres Kupang menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan aksi sosial yang dilakukan merupakan lanjutan dari kegiatan pembagian Bansos dalam rangka memeriahkan HUT Lalu Lintas ke-67 serta bukti kepedulian Polri atas kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak awal September lalu.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan aksi sosial yang dilakukan sebagai lanjutan dari kegiatan pembagian bansos sebelumnya dalam rangka memeriahkan HUT Lalu Lintas ke-67 serta bukti kepedulian polri atas kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak awal September lalu”, terangnya.
Untuk diketahui juga bahwa sebelum mendatangi kedua Janda Lansia ini, Kapolres Kupang beserta rombongan sudah melakukan anjangsana ke rumah Aiptu Purn Mesakh Nitte di Kelurahan Oebobo Kecamatan Oebobo Kota Kupang.
Aiptu purn Mesakh Nitte merupakan mantan personil Lalu Lintas Polres Kupang yang sudah memasuki masa pensiun tahun 2019 lalu dan saat ini sedang sakit.
