Orang nomor Satu Kabupaten Kupang ini dalam sambutannya menyampaikan limpah terima kasih kepada Pemerintah Desa (Pemdes) dan Masyarakat Desa Kuimasi sebagaimana telah bersemangat dalam melakukan penanaman dengan memanfaatkan Dana Desa, untuk kesejahtraan Masyarakat, khususnya pengembangan di bidang Pertanian dan Peternakan.
“Saya cukup berbangga kepada pemdes dan masyarakat desa Kuimasi, yang mana bersemangat melakukan kegiatan menanam dengan memanfaatkan dana desa guna kesejahtraan masyarakat khususnya pengembangan dibidang pertanian dan peternakan. Kiranya ini bisa menjadi contoh bagi kita semua”, ujar Masneno.
Lanjutnya, meski Kab. Kupang kaya dengan potensi Sumber Daya Alam, namun tidak semua Masyarakat memiliki ide yang cukup dalam mengembangkan usaha yang ada disekitanya. Namun, Masyarakat dan Pemerintah bisa terus bekerja sama membangun sesuatu yang dimiliki demi membangun manusia.
Tidak lupa juga Ia menyampaikan terima kasih kepada semua pihak, baik Camat, Sekcam, Kades, para PPL maupun para siswa yang selalu membantu mendorong dan berdampingan dengan masyarakat dalam pengembangan program pemerintah melalui Revolusi 5P dibidang Peternakan dan Pertanian.
“Jangan tanam jagung panen rumput. Rawatlah jagung yang ditanam ini sehingga hasilnya akan dinikmati oleh masyarakat disini”, ungkapnya.
Ia berharap, hasil tanam dari lahan seluas 20 hektar ini bisa menjadi sukses pertama Dirinya bersama Rakyat.
“Semoga bisa berkembang dan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat demi meningkatkan pendapatan perkapita di desa ini. Jangan pernah berpikir bermimpi dapat mendatangkan hasil tapi berpikirlah bahwa menabur dapat mendatangkan hasil”, Pungkasnya.
Tambahnya, terkait Lamtoro Taramba pasti akan bertumbuh baik dan dalam kurun waktu 6 bulan sudah bisa dilihat hasilnya.
“Lokasi ini bisa jadi lokasi perkebunan lamtoro taramba yang luar biasa. Bisa memenuhi kebutuhan pakan ternak di sini bahkan bisa di jual ke luar”, tutup Masneno.
Sementara Kepala Desa Kuimasi, Maksen A. F. Lifu mengungkapkan bahwa ini berawal dari Masyarakat yang mencari nafkah diluar Daerah, dan atas dukungan Masyarakat, Dirinya membuka lahan ini demi mata pencaharian Masyarakat Desa Kuimasi, sekaligus mendukung program revolusi 5P dan program TJPS.
Kegiatan ini juga mendapat dukungan penuh dari Pemerintah hingga Desa, BPD hingga Masyarakatnya.
“Saya cukup berbangga dan berterima kasih karena masyarakat juga mendukung kegiatan ini. Dengan dana yang dihabiskan untuk lahan seluas 20 hektar ini mencapai 122 juta rupiah yang bersumber dari dana desa. Terima kasih juga bagi Pemkab Kupang yang dengan cepat merespon untuk hadir pada kegiatan ini”, ujarnya.
