Kupang_KlikNTT_PMI Provinsi NTT bersama PMI Kabupaten Kupang memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan kepada korban gempa bumi di Kabupaten Kupang yang mengguncang Kupang 20 November 2022 lalu,Bantuan kemanusiaan ini didistribusikan pada jumat, 02 Desember 2022.
Bantuan kemanusiaan ini diserahkan langsung oleh Ketua PMI Kabupaten Kupang yang juga Wakil Bupati, Jerry Manafe, SH., M.Th., bersama Kepala Markas PMI Provinsi, Severinus Poso.
Adapun data korban gempa yang dikunjungi adalah Kelurahan Buraen, Kecamatan Amarasi Timur ada 3 keluarga yang terdampak; desa Kotabes, Kecamatan Amarasi ada 3 Keluarga yang terdampak; dan desa Retraen, Kecamatan Amarasi Selatan ada 2 keluarga yang terdampak dengan Kondisi bangunan rumah yang dikunjungi ada yang seagian roboh, ada yang secara utuh rata dengan tanah dan ada juga yang temboknya retak-retak dan harus dibangun baru.
Bantuan yang di berikan PMI Provinsi dan PMI Kabupaten Kupang berupa family kit (perlengkapan keluarga seperti sabun, handuk, sandal, piring, sendok, sikat gigi, odol, dll); terpal PMI, dan perlengkapan untuk kerja bangunan.
Kepada keluarga penerima bantuan, Ketua PMI Kabupaten Kupang Jerry Manafe katakan: “Ini bentuk kepedulian dari PMI. Saya sebagai ketua PMI Kabupaten Kupang bersama dengan PMI Provinsi NTT langsung membagikan kepada masyarakat yang terdampak”.
Sementara Kepala Markas PMI NTT, Severinus Poso, menyampaikan semoga bantuan kemanusiaan ini bisa turut meringankan beban yang sedang dialami keluarga yang terdampak. “Semoga dengan bantuan yang sedikit ini bisa membantu meringankan beban yang dipikul oleh keluarga. Dengan harapan akan ada bantuan dari pihak lainnya, sehingga keluarga bisa diangkat bebannya akibat kerusakan yang ada”
Kegiatan ini dihadiri juga oleh kepala desa setempat, tokoh masyarakat dan tokoh agama. Di Kecamatan Amarasi dihadiri juga oleh Camatnya, Maher Ora dan Ibu pendeta setempat. Sedangkan di Amarasi Selatan, rombongan PMI juga didampingi oleh bapk Sekretaris Camat Amarasi Selatan.(Tim)
