Kepala Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Kabupaten Kupang, Oktovianus Tahik kepada media ini Kamis, 12/01/23 sore di ruang kerjanya mengatakan bahwa Portal Galian C ini di fungsikan untuk menertibkan pembayaran aktifitas truk pengangkut tambang Mineral Bukan Logam dan Batuan (MBLB) atau galian c pada malam hari.
Dikarenakan, para truk pengangkut galian c ini biasa beroprasi sampai pada malam hari. Maka itu Bapenda dengan segera mengaktifkan Portal Galian C di Kelurahan Babau agar bisa beroprasi pada malam hari mulai dari pukul 18:00 wita sampai pukul 06:00 wita.
Berkaitan dengan tenaga yang akan beraktifitas pada portal tersebut, Dirinya sudah berkoordinasi dengan Sat Pol. PP Kabupaten Kupang untuk membagi personil sesuai sif yang sudah di atur oleh pihaknya.
“Jadi portal yang ada di oelamasi hanya dari pagi sampai jam 6 sore, sedangkan untuk portal yang ada di kelurahan babau langsung sambung dari jam 6 sore sampai jam 6 pagi. Artinya untuk portal kelurahan babau hanya beroprasi pada malam hari sampai pagi, sedangkan di oelamasi mulai dari pagi sampai malam”, jelasnya.
Ia menambahkan bahwa untuk sementara pihaknya masih dalam tahap uji coba. Sehingga ke depan apa bila sudah beroprasi dengan baik maka Portal tersebut akan di tingkatkan sesuai dengan tahap perencanaan awal yaitu secara on line.
“Kita mulai dulu dengan apa yang ada sambil membereskan mungkin ada kekurangan-kerungan yang ada baik itu penerangan dan kebutuhan lainnya sehingga ke depan akan kita tingkatkan pelayanannya”, ungkapnya.
