Orang Nomor 2 Kabupaten Kupang ini menyampaikan Proficiat kepada Camat Taebenu, terkhususnya Desa Oeletsala, karena sangat luar biasa menggunakan Dana Desa untuk pembagian Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) selama 3 Bulan.
“Pertama-tama saya berikan proficiat dan apresiasi kepada kecamatan taebenu, khususnya desa Oelatasala, karena sudah sangat luar biasa menggunakan dana desa untuk pembagian pmt selama 3 bulan dengan didukung penuh oleh kapus dan tenaga gizi puskesmas untuk menjaga dan mengatur menu makanan”, ujarnya.
Lanjutnya namun tak hanya itu, Ia berkomitmen bersama Kades serta Tenaga Kesehatan di Desa Oelatsala agar masalah stunting harus segera diselesaikan tahun ini.
“Saya percaya, lewat plt. Camat, akan menekan penurunan stunting dan anak kurang gizi di 8 desa di kecamatan taebenu. Karena stunting di kecamatan ini cukup besar. Masih ada sekitar 20 orang lebih yang terkena stunting dan kita harapkan bisa menurun pada bulan timbang tahun ini. Hampir 1313 anak yang diukur pada bulan timbang semua bisa ter-cover dengan baik sehingga pada Agustus mendatang, saya percaya stunting, kurang gizi dan Kek sudah bisa teratasi”, ujar Manafe.
Kapus Baumata menerangkan, jumlah bayi balita kecamatan Taebenu sebanyak 1.313, dengan persentase stunting 13,63 % (179 anak ), gizi buruknya 26 anak, dan ibu hamil yang KEK hanya 1 orang.
Khusus desa Oelatsala data stuntingnya ada 16 anak dari sasaran 103 anakanak dengan persentase 15,53%.
Dirinya juga menjelaskan, untuk Posyandu Cendana, dari 26 bayi balita, 6 anak terkena stunting.
“Untuk itu, kami lakukan kegiatan di desa salah satunya pemberian PMT selama 90 hari atau 3 bulan yang anggarannya bersumber dari dana desa dan pemberian susu bagi anak gizi buruk melalui dana dari Kementerian dan swadaya masing-masing Posyandu”, ujar Kapus Baumata.
Kades Oelatsala, Im Bilaut juga mengatakan, “Untuk menekan angka stunting, dari dana desa kami alokasikan 20% untuk PMT selama 3 tahun dan telah berlangsung selama 3 bulan ini. Ada juga kegiatan lain, seperti penyuluhan untuk pola asuh anak, khusus ibu hamil dan bayi balita. Kami mengupayakan agar angka stunting bisa ditekan sampai habis d desa Oelatsala.”
